Desired by @jamesfgoldstein and designed by @connerperryarchitects , the pavilion is hidden in the jungle garden of the property and is only accessible at sunset time in California...

Voulue par James Goldstein et désigné par Conner Perry architectes, le pavillon se cache dans le jardin-jungle de la propriété et n’est accessible qu’à l’heure du coucher de soleil de la Californie…

Accessible via un petit chemin de béton désactivé, le pavilion Turrell ne se dévoile qu’au détour de palmiers et plantes exotiques. Un code secret sur un clavier, Une lourde porte qui s’entrouvre, de la lumière et une musique démarrent, le plafond s’ouvre et vous voilà contemplant le ciel dégradé de Los Angeles à travers le prisme de couleurs de James Turell : Unique !!!

The Turrell pavilion 3/3: Accessible only at sunse

The Turrell pavilion 3/3:
Accessible only at sunset, the concrete pavilion houses a contemplative and almost mystical work (but with the sauce beverly hills anyway). At H-hour, the ceiling opens (yes you read right!) on the twilight sky of Los Angeles, accompanied by a sequence of color sequences on the walls and ambient music. We discover a unique sequence that will last the time of the magic hour.
And to better enjoy, a leather sofa invites you to lie down here to enjoy the moment. Parallel to the sky,
A hypnotic moment out of time.
Every day a new work, every day a new experience.

Huge Thanks to M. James Goldstein for his warm welcome, his interest for art, architecture and for sharing it, and for giving me the opportunity to discover and document this unique and magical place.

The Turrell pavilion 3/3:
Accessible uniquement au coucher du soleil, le pavillon de béton abrite une œuvre contemplative et quasiment mystique (mais à la sauce beverly hills quand même). A l’heure H, le plafond s’ouvre (oui vous avez bien lu!) sur le ciel crépusculaire de Los Angeles, accompagné d’une séquence d’enchaînement de couleurs sur les murs et de musique ambiante. On découvre alors une séquence unique qui durera le temps de la magic hour.
Et pour mieux profiter, un canapé de cuir vous invite à vous allonger ici pour profiter du moment. Parallèle au ciel,
Un moment hypnotique hors du temps.
Chaque jour une nouvelle œuvre, chaque jour une nouvelle expérience.

Merci à James Goldstein pour son accueil et pour m’avoir permis de découvrir et documenter ce lieu unique et magique pendant plusieurs jours.
